As of January 31, 2012, the developer was "hoping to have all of our construction permits any day and plan[ning] to break ground and start construction as soon as they are obtained." Once construction starts, the developer expects the project to take about 5 months to complete.
Check out a larger project image, the site plan, floor plans, and a link to the project website (providing many more details about the units) after the jump.

Great looking project! Capital City Real Estate really puts a lot of effort into creating aesthetically-pleasing properties.
ReplyDeleteThis project, CityMarket at O, Valor, and Addison Square? 7th and P is certainly the new hot spot for Shaw development. Can't wait to see just some of this neighborhood when this is done.
ReplyDeletethey're already doing a lot of work at the site--there are metal beams up, sheets of plywood, workers climbing up and down on ladders, etc. If the developer is "hoping to have all of our construction permits any day and plan[ning] to break ground and start construction as soon as they are obtained." then they need to talk to their construction staff.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: I think you were looking at the development site at 9th and P Streets, NW. I just went by the 8th and P site this afternoon, and it's still just an empty, fenced-in lot.
ReplyDeleteyou are totally right--my apologies!
ReplyDeleteEastShawDC -- I'm liking your new blog, but tell us more about yourself. What made you decide to start writing a blog? What part of the neighborhood do you live in? For how long? etc., etc.
